Stranger

Arriving on a strange land, Mandiro saw the white expanse of tall, translucent grass that swayed gently. The cool breeze greeted him like an old lover’s caress while his eyes wandered over the vastness of it all. The red giant up on the teal sky warmed his weary bones. He gave out a sigh as he closed his eyes and sat down atop of a hill. He was always arriving, only to leave at some point, never really settling. Was he finally home? The cool wind tussled some locks of his grey hair as he stared out at fields of endless white grass.
