A Walk Among Urban Giants

I walk among urban giants
Dressed in glass, iron and stone
Feeling the city shake with me
Down to its cobblestone core

Hear my city’s symphony
Of klaxons, feet and more
Beloved metropolis awaken!
Your people has touched shore

This urban sprawl untangles
Like a great bird watch it soar
Spreading towards the sky
Knocking on Heaven’s door

I keep walking these streets
This labyrinthian glory of old
Until my heart gives out
My love for you shall hold.
