I Reject It

Why do you lay your stigmas on me?
Stop hurting me with your brutish intolerance
That you try to mask with nervous laughter
But I see you trembling behind that grin
I never asked for your spiked cross to bear
Don’t lay on me such undeserved burden
Your guilty conscience shall not be mine
Lay down your lies at someone else’s feet
Mine are washed clean from your filth.
